Our stay was highlighted by the warm hospitality from hosts Manuela and Hubert, along with attentive staff like Gitty, Sabine, and Silvia, who ensured we felt welcome throughout our visit. The hotel's location is superb, just a short walk from a ski bus stop and within easy reach of multiple gondolas to kick off your alpine adventures-an added convenience for families like mine. We opted for a well-furnished double room that came equipped with a small kitchen and dining area, ideal for prepping snacks after a day on the slopes. Breakfast and dinner were satisfying; the restaurant offers a variety of hearty meals to keep you fueled. The cozy bar was a perfect spot to unwind after a busy day outdoors. While Alte Schmiede provides a comfortable and enjoyable experience, it's smart to weigh the cost against the amenities. Given its prime location and superb service, this hotel offers solid value for what you pay, making it a reliable choice for your next mountain escape.
